My name is Edgar Petrosyan, MD, and I am a resident physician in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. I completed my medical education at First Moscow State Medical University I. M. Sechenov in Moscow, Russia. Throughout my career, I have been deeply engaged in research across multiple areas of neurological surgery, including functional neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and deformative spine diseases. My research interests lie particularly in the realm of basic and translational science, where I aim to contribute to the development of innovative therapeutic strategies for complex neurosurgical conditions.
