Wenxiong Song (Chinese: 宋文雄), male, Han Chinese, was born in May 1998 in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, China. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from North China University of Science and Technology and completed his Master’s degree at Nanjing Medical University, where he conducted research under the guidance of Professor Yuanjie Zou in the Department of Neurosurgery at Nanjing Brain Hospital.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Capital Medical University under the mentorship of Academician Jizong Zhao, a distinguished neurosurgery expert and member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. His research primarily focuses on cerebrovascular diseases and brain-heart comorbidities, with the goal of advancing interdisciplinary clinical and mechanistic insights in these fields.
