Akhil Rao is a second-year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, involved in clinical research in neurosurgery. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023. His research interests include vascular neurosurgery, skull base neuro-oncology, and disorders of the spine.
