Irving Gabriel Calisaya-Madariaga is a medical student at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia with aspirations of becoming a neurosurgeon. He has a strong interest in medical research, which led him to get involved in research projects from his very first year in medical school.
In addition to his passion for research, Irving is also deeply fascinated by medical education. To this end, he co-founded a volunteer initiative called MedPass Project, alongside some classmates. The project focuses on providing academic and research support to younger medical students, aiming to foster their development from the early stages of their medical education.
