Medical Student
Universidad Católica de Santa María
I am a final-year medical student at Universidad Católica de Santa María (Peru) with a strong academic and research background in neurogenetics, neuroimmunology, and rare neurological syndromes. My research has focused on the clinical and molecular characterization of uncommon neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, combining patient-centered clinical work with scientific investigation.
As a Research Fellow at the Red de Eficacia Clínica y Sanitaria, I’m currently participating in research on clinical effectiveness and neurological outcomes. I’ve also served as Mentor in Human Anatomy through SINAPSIS and continue to guide peers in research writing and presentation.
Through these roles, I’ve developed skills in clinical data analysis, scientific communication, and ethics in research. My goal is to contribute to translational neuroscience through residency and academic collaboration, particularly in the fields of movement disorders, epilepsy, and neurogenetics.
