Dr. Keyur Shah is an accomplished neurosurgeon passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. With a career spanning extensive training, research, and hands-on surgical experience, he has established himself as a highly skilled professional in the field of neurosurgery.
Dr. Shah’s academic journey began at Government Medical College, Vadodara, where he completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2018. His exceptional academic performance earned him four gold medals and a distinction, marking him as one of the most promising students in his batch.
He pursued his specialization in Neurosurgery (MCh) at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru, from 2018 to 2024. His dedication and expertise led him to be recognized as the Best Outgoing Student for MCh in Neurosurgery (2023), further solidifying his standing in the field.
Dr. Shah's professional career is marked by a commitment to excellence and continuous learning. He served as a Senior Resident in Neurosurgery at NIMHANS under the KaBHI Project from August to October 2024, where he gained experience in treating neurosurgical cases in the community. Currently, he is working as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Shri Vinoba Bhave Civil Hospital, Silvassa, where he provides advanced neurosurgical care to patients.
Dr. Shah has amassed extensive surgical experience, having assisted in and performed over 1,200 elective and emergency neurosurgeries.He has contributed significantly to research, particularly in skull base surgery. His thesis on "Expanded Endoscopic Endonasal Approach to the Occipital Condyle: A Morphometric Study in Indian Cadavers" won the Best Paper Award at NSICON 2023. He has also authored several research papers in renowned journals, contributing to advancements in neurosurgical techniques.
Dr. Shah is an active member of several prestigious neurosurgical societies, including the Neurological Society of India (NSI), American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS). He has presented papers at both national and international conferences, including NASBS 2024 (Atlanta, USA) and CNS Annual Meeting 2023 (Washington, D.C.).
