Dr. Muhammad H. Durrani, MD is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), mentored by Dr. Daniel H. Kim, MD. Prior to joining UTHealth, he pursued graduate studies in Chemical and Biological Engineering at State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Durrani’s current research focuses on advancing ultra minimally invasive endoscopic techniques for spine surgery, improving outcomes in peripheral nerve and tumor procedures, and integrating novel intraoperative technologies such as surgical navigation and robotics, to streamline workflows. Outside of research he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, kayaking, fishing, and volunteering at the local mosques and community centers.
