Ms. Alexa Lauinger, is a third-year medical student at Carle Illinois Collge of Medicine in Urbana, Illinois. She received a Bachelor of Science from Caltech in 2020 and worked as a bioinformatician for two years following graduation. She plans to specialize in neurosurgery upon finishing medical school. Her projects focus on predictive model and risk factors to assess short- and long-term outcomes following neurosurgical procedures.
