Dr. Gabriela M. Bosque Ortiz is an auxiliary investigator for the Neurosurgery Section of the Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus. She completed her doctorate in Neuroscience at Yale University, studying neural underpinnings driving infant vocal behavior using mouse models. She gained further academic experience as a Neuroscience and Anatomy lecturer in Berlin and Hamburg. Now she is interested in studying genetic biomarkers for Glioblastoma and dissect survival outcome differences within Hispanic communities. Her broad goals as a scientist is to learn and contribute in translational research as well as create research opportunities for others in my community.
