Medical Student
Texas A&M School of Engineering Medicine
Cameron Keehn was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After graduating high school, he received a scholarship to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Management at the University of Arkansas. In college, Cameron was selected for a summer internship in Barcelona, Spain, where he traveled Europe while working as an international marketing consultant intern.
After graduation he became a research coordinator for multiple infectious disease projects covering vaccines and novel cures during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. After seeing a national need for improved hospital operations during COVID-19, Cameron dedicated his next two and a half years to medical operations consulting. There, his team focused on hospital operations and revenue cycle improvements for hospitals of all sizes across the nation.
Cameron chose EnMed for his medical education as the institution provides a well rounded and unique foundation to grow his interest in a dual career of clinical medicine and translational research. He is confident his experiences at EnMed will shape him into a physician who prioritizes quality patient care which will ultimately drive his passion for innovation and and regenerative therapy development.
In Cameron’s free time, he enjoys cooking new and challenging recipes, rock climbing, and hiking. He is perpetually planning his next mountaineering expedition. He is currently working out which team to support for future A&M-Arkansas football games.
