Arnav Sharma, BS is a second-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a major in physiology and neurobiology and a minor in bioinformatics. His prior research explored novel nanopore sequencing and volatile organic compound detection techniques for pathogen surveillance. Arnav's current research interests lie in reducing surgical footprint, especially through minimally invasive spine techniques and optimized pre-operative decision-making.
