Max Reed is a second-year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College with a strong interest in neurosurgery. He completed his undergraduate studies in Neuroscience at the University of Southern California where he investigated the role of myeloid-derived suppressor cells in breast-to-brain metastasis. His current research focuses on exosome-mediated interactions between T cells and primary brain tumors and their effects on tumor immunogenicity, particularly in GBM. His work on the first reported case of a peripheral nerve extramedullary plasmacytoma in the context of multiple myeloma will be featured at the 2025 AANS Annual Meeting.
