He has engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases, especially cerebrovascular diseases and intracranial tumors, specializing in surgical treatment of moyamoya disease, carotid artery stenosis, and aneurysms. He furthered his expertise by undertaking a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) from 2019 to 2020. He participated as a training teacher in the "Cerebrovascular Microanastomosis Technique Training Course" and academic conferences to promote surgical techniques for ischemic cerebrovascular diseases to domestic neurosurgeons. His research mainly focuses on cerebrovascular diseases and functional brain imaging studies. He has led 2 provincial and ministerial-level research projects, participated in multiple national and provincial-level fund projects, published over 10 academic papers in authoritative international and domestic journals such as the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, Neurosurgery, Journal of Neurosurgery, Chinese Medical Journal, and Chinese Journal of Neurosurgery.
