Ali Ebada, BS is a second-year medical student pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School (UTSW). Before UTSW, Ali earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University, graduating summa cum laude with highest honors. At UTSW, Ali’s research has focused on topics such as spinal fusion procedures, meningioma surgical outcomes, and the epidemiology of pediatric brain tumors. Ali has presented his research findings at various conferences, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting. Besides research, Ali serves as the president of the UTSW chapter of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, volunteers as a site leader for volunteer organizations such as REACH at the Union Gospel Mission and Houston Welcomes Refugees, and is the founder and president of the Southwestern Miracle League.
