Milan Sivakumar, B.S. is a medical student at UT Southwestern. He is a lead of the Spine Division in NeuroSpine Nexus, a student-led neurosurgery research group at UTSW, and conducts research in the Texas Computational Memory Lab, where he explores neural dynamics, memory processing, and computational modeling in neuroscience. His research also focuses on spinal pathology, neurosurgical outcomes, and the influence of endocrine factors on the nervous system. In addition to his research, Milan is a content creator for The ScienceVerse, a YouTube channel with over 15,000 subscribers, where he simplifies complex neurosurgical and neuroscience topics through engaging animations. He is also a medical illustrator, contributing to various neurology and neurosurgery projects to visually communicate complex cases. Dedicated to advancing neurosurgical knowledge and education, Milan aims to bridge the gap between research, clinical practice, and public understanding of neuroscience.
