Vick Sahni is a first-year medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a double major in Data Science and Molecular and Cell Biology, he worked as a software engineer in the biotech industry for 3 years prior to entering medical school. He hopes to pursue spine surgery, and leveraging his background in data science, focuses his research on the intersection of artificial intelligence/machine learning and spine surgery. Outside of academics and research, his interests include weightlifting, reading car magazines, and watching Bay Area sports teams.
