Neil Manjunath Salian, is a final-year medical student from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India. Neil has demonstrated remarkable dedication to the global health field, holding various leadership roles within prominent global health initiatives and the country's largest medical student organization. His commitment to research is evident through his active engagement in multiple projects remotely, as well as his experience in a molecular biology research laboratory in Poland. Currently, he serves part-time in research lab at one of India’s leading neuro centers, where he contributes significantly to advancing neurological research.
Neil’s primary clinical interests encompass skull base surgery, functional neurosurgery, and pediatric neurosurgery. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is deeply committed to community service, frequently volunteering at health camps to support underserved populations in southern India.
