Akash is a second year MD candidate at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. In his first year, Akash led VP&S’s Innovative Medicine Group, served as a University Senator, and volunteered as the Co-Director of the Columbia-Harlem Homeless Medical Partnership (CHHMP) student-run free clinic. Akash is interested in a surgical career and passionate about using technology to solve challenges in medicine.
