Dr. Vivek Sanker is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at Stanford University. Vivek’s research interests include utilizing machine learning models and generative AI to enhance radiological detection and to develop synthetic fusion images in spine oncology, with a keen interest in enhancing patient safety and outcomes in spine oncology. Currently, he is working on machine learning-based prediction models in spine surgery, utilizing ‘Big Data’, fine-tuning and application of LLMs in spine radiology, and assessment of mitochondrial activity in spinal metastasis
