Alison Schultz is a dedicated third-year medical student at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), where she is pursuing her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree, with an anticipated graduation in May 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Georgia, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has successfully passed both the NBME Step 1 and NBOME Level 1 exams. She is also an inducted member of Sigma Sigma Phi (SSP) Honor Society and Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Alison is actively involved in clinical research, with multiple presentations and publications. Her research spans various topics, including trauma surgery, patient counseling, congenital malformations, and vertebral augmentation techniques. She has presented at Spartanburg Regional Hospital’s GME Research Symposium, the National Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA) Research Symposium, and the Southeastern Surgical Conference (SESC).
