Elorm Yevudza, BA, is an MD/MS candidate at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. His research includes the peritumoral microenvironment, hydrocephalus, cavernoma, and epilepsy. His work explores GABAergic signaling in glioma and the impact of tumor-associated neurons on disease progression. He has also investigated prognostic factors for endoscopic third ventriculostomy in adult hydrocephalus and outcomes of laser interstitial thermal therapy for epileptogenic cavernomas. Additionally, he is engaged in global neurosurgery, contributing to brain tumor registry development and neurosurgical capacity-building in Sub-Saharan Africa.
