Laura Machlab has a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Northwestern University, and is currently an AI engineer at Mayo Clinic's Neuroinformatics Laboratory. She applies machine learning to solve clinical problems, and works primarily with medical images and patient health records. At Spine Summit she is presenting a recent project on automated vertebral keypoint detection in lumbar X-rays.
