Gilberto Perez Rodriguez Garcia, M.D. is a research fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, University of Arizona. His current research focuses on spine surgery, with particular interests in simulation training and minimally invasive procedures.

He previously conducted research at the University of Florida and the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y de la Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, working on projects related to deep brain stimulation, patient-centered care, and natural language processing models.
