Nuha is a second-year medical student at Howard University College of Medicine. As an executive board member of Howard’s AANS chapter and a member of the CNS medical student subcommittee, she is dedicated to promoting neurosurgery among her peers. Nuha is particularly passionate about increasing minority representation in neurosurgery and exploring how ethical considerations impact patient outcomes. Her interests lie in functional neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and global neurosurgery. She is also deeply interested in the history of neurosurgical practices, exploring how lessons from the past can inform modern brain surgery techniques, and how technological advancements like deep brain stimulation influence ethical decision-making in surgical interventions.
