Dr. Lucas Pari Mitre is a Brazilian physician with a strong international background in neurosurgery. He graduated from Santa Casa de São Paulo (Class of 2024) and completed multiple neurosurgery sub-internships in the United States, (Yale School of Medicine, Weill Cornell Medical College and National Institutes of Health), gaining hands-on experience.
Passionate about medical education, Dr. Mitre is the founder of STEPZERO, a program dedicated to mentoring physicians preparing for the USMLE and pursuing international medical careers. Through his guidance, he has helped numerous doctors navigate the complex licensing process and achieve their professional goals. He is specially interested in the use of spaced repetition flashcards to qualify physicians and increase accuracy and efficiency in medical training throughout medical school and residency.
In addition to his clinical and educational contributions, Dr. Mitre actively shares insights on the USMLE and international medical pathways through his Instagram (@mitre.lucas), where he engages a growing community of aspiring physicians.
