Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
I am Daniel Monahan, BS, a MS2 at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine in New Jersey. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I was a 4 year varsity member of the top 5 ranked Nebraska wrestling program under Mark Manning. Wrestling goes hand in hand with neurosurgery in my mind, as both demand excellence and provide a feeling of fullfillment doing fascinating and impactful work. For this reason, I am pursuing neurosurgery as a career. In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends as well as cooking.
