Sohan Rao, MPH is a second-year medical student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Biology and MPH in Epidemiology. He is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurosurgery, with research interests in neurotrauma, spine surgery and global health. Through translational approaches, his goal is to advance understanding of neurotrauma pathophysiology and biomarker characterization in order to better personalize diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
