Dr. Leonardo de Macedo Filho, MD, Research Fellow at Penn State Health

Dr. Macedo is a Brazilian physician and researcher specializing in neuroscience and neurosurgery. He earned his MD from the University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR) in Brazil in May 2021. Dr. Macedo has published extensively on topics like traumatic brain injury and neuro-oncology. Currently, Dr. Macedo is a research fellow at Penn State Health, working on projects related to brain tumors, including social disparities, clinical trials, proteogenomic analysis, and photodynamic therapy.
