María Fernanda Tejada, M.D., is a neurosurgery research physician with a strong background in neuro-oncology and spinal surgery. She completed her medical degree at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico City. She conducted research at the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía Manuel Velasco Suárez, focusing on schizophrenia and brain studies. Passionate about advancing neurosurgical techniques, she has contributed to research on novel spine treatments and the use of intrawound vancomycin in neurosurgery. María Fernanda is currently involved in clinical research and aspires to pursue neurosurgical training in the United States.
