My name is Mahmudur Rahman and I’m a third-year medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin. At the 2025 AANS Annual Meeting, I will present my NREF Medical Student Summer Research Fellowship Project on the Impact of Perioperative Nimodipine on Functional Outcomes Following Decompression Surgery in a Mouse Model of Degenerative Cervical Myelopathy (DCM). I hope to continue working with my mentor, Dr. Aditya Vedantam, and build on our research to improve our understanding and management of DCM.
