Medical Student
SUNY Upstate Medical University, US
Margaret A. Lovier, MPH, is a third-year medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She graduated from Cornell University in 2019 and received her master's degree from SUNY Upstate with a concentration in Data and Analytics. Margaret is passionate about investigating treatments for neurodegeneration, inspired by her grandfather who has early-onset Parkinsonism in the context of TBI, and she hopes to one day treat patients like him. Her achievements include the first ever Alzheimer's Association Healthy Brain Initiative Scholarship, the American Society of Neural Therapy and Repair Travel Award, the SUNY Upstate Medical University Norton College of Medicine Research Fellowship, and two consecutive grants for community outreach from the Amazin' Mets Foundation.
