Jason Lim is a 2nd-year medical student at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is from Korea but grew up in Seattle since middle school. He attended the University of Washington, where he obtained his B.S. in Neuroscience and minor in Chemistry. At UW, he was awarded many scholarships including the Mary Gates Research Scholarship and the Washington Research Foundation Fellowship for his work on studying mitochondrial defects in neurodegenerative diseases. After graduation, he moved to Boston to work on developing genetic optical screening technology at the JT Neal Lab of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Since starting medical school, he has been doing neurosrugery research with both UW and Georgeotwn.
