Julia Mueller is currently a medical student at Rush Medical College, having earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. Following several years in business consulting, she found her true calling in medicine. It was during the beginning of medical school that she developed a deep interest in neurosurgery. Her current research is centered on gaining a deeper understanding of the side effect profile of magnetic resonance guided focused ultrasound in treating essential tremor and tremor-dominant Parkinson's disease.
