Ryan Gensler, B.S.
Ryan Gensler is a medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine and a research fellow in the Department of Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University. His research focuses on the gut-brain axis in trigeminal neuralgia, carotid atherosclerosis, and neurosurgical outcomes. He has led clinical and translational studies on glioma genomics, preoperative steroid use in brain tumor resection, and socioeconomic barriers to surgical careers. Ryan has received multiple awards, including the Blaustein Endowment for Pain Research and the Caris Life Sciences Project Idea Award
