A Minnesota native, Chiagoziem completed his undergraduate studies in Religious Studies and Biology at Macalester College, where he also played collegiate soccer. His current work focuses on understanding how oculomotor movement, specifically saccades, impact neural activity of the hippocampus and amygdala in the context of memory formation. In his free time, he enjoys watching Arsenal FC play, reading, worshiping with his community, and running.
