SUNY Upstate Medical University
I am Brendan Maloney, a current third year medical student at SUNY Upstate Medical University. I am planning to apply for neurosurgery residency this upcoming cycle in the fall and am excited to be presenting our abstract on anterior cervical osteophytectomy for dysphagia. Prior to attending medical school at SUNY Upstate, I received my bachelor's degree from SUNY Stony Brook University. I am the current president of the AANS student chapter at SUNY Upstate, and I have enjoyed working alongside other students wishing to pursue neurosurgery residency as well as informing the rest of our student body about what the field of neurosurgery entails. I am excited to attend this year's annual meeting and to meet other students and providers in the field!
