Damian Teasley BS is fourth year MD/MS Candidate at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and a Dean’s Research Fellow with the Columbia University Department of Neurological Surgery. His academic and professional interests include neuro-oncology, the brain tumor microenvironment, neuro-inflammation, spinal tumors, and equity in neurosurgery. As an aspiring physician scientist, his research endeavors are centered on translational work aimed at ameliorating the efficacy of chemotherapy via modulation of the immune system, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.
