W. Christopher Newman, MD, MPH is an Assistant Attending in spine oncology and Associate Director of the Neurosurgical Oncology fellowship program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is a fellowship trained spine oncologist with expertise in minimally invasive approaches to spine tumors, spine radiosurgery, and the treatment of cancer pain syndromes. His research is focused on spine biomechanics in patients with metastatic spine disease as well as understanding and addressing issues of health equity in oncologic populations.
