Dr. Jared Fridley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Brown University's Alpert Medical School and serves as Director of the Spine Surgery Outcomes Laboratory and the Center for Innovative Neurotechnology for Neural Repair (CINNR) at Rhode Island Hospital. Board-certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, Dr. Fridley completed his medical degree and neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a complex spine surgery fellowship at Brown University.
His clinical and research interests focus heavily on spinal cord injury, innovative neurotechnologies, and advanced imaging techniques, including spinal cord perfusion assessment. He leads multiple research initiatives, including studies on real-time spinal cord perfusion monitoring using contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Dr. Fridley has published extensively on topics including spinal cord injury, spinal tumors, and surgical outcomes.
