Dr. Shaan M Raza is Professor of Neurosurgery and Neurosurgical Director of the Multidisciplinary Skull Base and Pituitary Program. He is also Section Chief for Skull Base Surgery and Vice-Chair in the Department of Neurosurgery. With advanced fellowship training in open and endoscopic skull base surgery, Dr. Raza’s clinical practice focuses on the surgical and multidisciplinary management of benign and malignant skull base tumors. He is internationally recognized for his surgical expertise in skull base surgery and in the development of management strategies for challenging skull base tumors. Dr. Raza fully strives to provide patients the best possible clinical and quality of life outcomes while providing compassionate and innovative care. As part of a larger team of specialists in the Skull Base Tumor Program, he also works with other clinical experts to develop coordinated treatment plans consisting of surgical and non-surgical options. In line with his clinical expertise, his research strives to refine surgical strategies and develop overall treatment strategies in order to improve outcomes for patients.
