Dr. Neena Marupudi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She specializes in pediatric neurosurgery with a focus in functional pediatric neurosurgery. She previously practiced for over 5 years at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center where she was Co-Director of the Pediatric Surgical Epilepsy Program and Pediatric Surgical Tone Management Programs. Dr. Marupudi is passionate about neurosurgical innovations that minimize surgical impact while optimizing clinical outcomes. She has continued to build on the work of her predecessors in endoscopic epilepsy surgery, performing endoscopic corpus callosotomies and hemispherotomies. She also does clinical outcomes research in pediatric surgical tone and spasticity management. At Michigan Medicine, Dr. Marupudi serves as the Director of the Pediatric Surgical Tone Management Program and is expanding clinical and research programs in minimally-invasive epilepsy surgery, neuromodulation and the surgical treatment of spasticity and movement disorders in pediatric patients.
