Dillan Prasad is a medical student at the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine passionate about brain-computer-interfaces (BCIs), smart spinal implants, and functional neurosurgery. Prior to medical school, he earned degrees in neuroscience, astrophysics, and chemistry from the University of Chicago, as well as an M.S. in Precision health data science. He has worked extensively with cortically-implanted human BCI subjects with the goal of developing robotic neuroprostheses. In his future practice, Dillan aims to develop, scale, and reimburse the implantable medical devices of the future. Outside of his academic work, Dillan is a triathlon cyclist, enjoys playing chess and poker, and is a level II sommelier.
