Dr. Brett Youngerman, MD, MS is Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Columbia University Medical Center / New York Presbyterian Hospital. His clinical practice is devoted to epilepsy, movement disorders, and endoscopic pituitary and anterior skull base surgery. He leads the Clinical Neuroinformatics and Neuromodulation (CNN) Lab. Current projects include:
1) Using multimodal human brain and behavior recordings to characterize and modulate anxiety and memory [Ongoing: R61MH135405]
2) Developing a novel, wireless, fully implanted, high-resolution brain computer interface system [Columbia BioMedX]
3) Using electronic medical record data to measure and promote equitable access to specialized epilepsy care [Completed: KL2TR00174]
4) Multi-center epilepsy surgery outcomes research.
