Dr. Wei Ni is an Associate Chief Physician and Ph.D. at the Department of Neurosurgery, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, and a postdoctoral fellow in Neurosurgery at the University of Michigan, USA. He specializes in the angiography, endovascular intervention, and microsurgical treatment of cerebrospinal vascular diseases, including hemorrhagic lesions (such as cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and dural arteriovenous fistulas) and ischemic diseases (such as cerebral artery stenosis and occlusion). Dr. Ni has been engaged in both basic and clinical research on cerebrovascular diseases, with a particular focus on the molecular biology of subarachnoid hemorrhage and intracerebral hemorrhage. In recent years, he has published over 100 papers in top-tier medical journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine. He has also been the principal investigator of four grants funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
