Christiana Oshotse, BA, is a third-year medical student in the MD/MBA program Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School. She grew up in Lagos, Nigeria and in Atlanta, Georgia before attending Duke University, where she studied public policy and conducted health services research in public and global health issues. Christiana's work focuses on the intersections of neurosurgery, policy, business, and public/global health. As a graduate research assistant in the Neurosurgical Equitable Wellness (NEW) Research Group at Massachusetts General Hospital, she examines disparities in neurosurgical care and ethical considerations in surgical decision-making under the leadership of Dr. Theresa Williamson, a faculty neurosurgeon at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital.
