    Susana Skukalek DNP, NP-C, AGACNP-BC is the Director & Chief APP of the Emory Brain Health Center overseeing the APPs in the Departments of Neurosurgery, Neurology, Neurocritical Care, Psychiatry, Sleep and Rehabilitation Medicine. As a Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner for over 20 years, Susana cares for complex cerebrovascular patients at Emory University Hospital. She enjoys optimizing the patient experience and improving workflows through her work on on the Neurosurgery/Neuology service line committee and Stroke Leadership Committee. She is an adjunct member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons Cerebrovascular section and coordinates educational programming for the Society of Neurointerventional Surgeons. She enjoys providing exceptional patient care and seeing her patients do well, working alongside an extremely talented group of physician and APP colleaugues and driving positive changes for our APP professioal practice.
