Dr. Ken Porche is a neurosurgeon specializing in spine and peripheral nerve surgery. He earned his B.S. in Biochemistry and Biophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.A. in Medical Science from Boston University. He completed medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where he conducted research on ASD-associated genes and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Porche trained in neurosurgery at the University of Florida, completed a spine fellowship at the University of Utah, and is completing a peripheral nerve fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He will join the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in July. His research focuses on enhanced recovery after surgery, complication prediction, artificial intelligence, biomarkers, and peripheral nerve stimulation.
