    Paul F. Nemer, BS, is a 3rd year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine from Akron, OH, who is applying for neurosurgery residency. His research pursuits have been driven by his interests in neurosurgery, global health, and patient quality improvement. These experiences have further deepened his passion for poetry. He is thankful for the opportunities that have guided his journey so far.
