Nicholas (Nick) DeWalt, BS, is an MD/MS candidate at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Though originally from Texas, he received his undergraduate degree at Yale University where he studied Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. His research interests revolve around neuroimaging and brain tumors. His more recent projects have delved into how brain tumors (glioblastoma and diffuse midline glioma) geometrically shift in space and time following various treatments. He also is interested in combining structural MRI with functional MRI to better predict the spatial distribution of tumor burden in gliomas. In his free time, he likes flying airplanes, playing the saxophone, and skiing.
