Sahil Chilukuri is a clinical research assistant at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. His current research under Dr. Nader Pouratian focuses on leveraging machine learning to investigate cortical and subcortical activity and its underlying effects on symptom severity in patients with Parkinson’s disease. He is also involved with research focused on spine surgery, neuro-oncology, and pediatric neurosurgery at UTSW. Sahil is an aspiring medical student passionate about translational research and all things neuroscience, and looks forward to a fulfilling career in academic medicine.
